What we will build for the 2010s: "Aguero's final kick in 2012, 5000-1 Leicester City, and Klopp vs Guardiola." Below is our prototype blueprint showing how this decade’s social narrative, terrace subculture, archival photography, and filmed supporter interviews will be structured as we roll out production across our partner clubs.
The 2010s provided the most dramatic narratives in modern history. Sergio Aguero scored at 93:20 in 2012 to snatch Manchester City's first title in 44 years. Leicester City defied 5,000-1 odds to win the 2015/16 title. Pep Guardiola's City reached 100 points in 2018, while Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool amassed 97 points before conquering Europe in 2019.
Independent fan media exploded. YouTube fan channels and weekly football podcasts became the primary outlet for raw supporter reactions, challenging traditional broadcast commentary.
High-intensity counter-pressing (Gegenpressing) and inverted full-backs dominated tactical discussions. Video Assistant Referee (VAR) was introduced to the Premier League in 2019.
